“There must be something really special in this box. If only I could peep inside. If I just peel back the  . . . . .“

The history of Cornwall is inspiring, exciting and gripping, and here are many achievements and stories that are under told about the people that made Cornwall great. That was true, until two museum caretakers arrived for their final day of work at The Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro.

And they’re not just going to tell you – they’re going to show you.

Step inside the Royal Cornwall Museum as you’ve never seen it before with this brand new show by the creator of Trevithick! and Kernow King's Greatest Hits. The play will introduce you to some of the greatest Cornish men and women from history.

You’ll meet John Couch Adams discovering the planet NeptuneBobby Leach, the first man to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel, Rowena Cade, builder of The Minack, and Emily Hobhouse who pioneered healthcare in Africa.   And many more - there’s someone to fascinate everyone!

Kernow King’s 'The Cornish Caretakers' is a family-friendly fifty-minute comedy written by and starring Edward Rowe. Directed by Simon Harvey and features actor Jenny Beare.

“What did I hear you say earlier about it?     Mystical… marvellous… magical…”
