Time: 10.30 - 16.30
Cost: Free
Suitable for: Any age

An exhibition designed to encourage us to look more closely at our surroundings in the centre of Launceston, to admire some of the fascinating details and be shocked at some signs of neglect and dilapidation. It includes a streetscape, photographs of most of the buildings in the centre, together with detailed information about some of the more remarkable buildings and the people who have occupied them over the centuries.

Do you know where ‘Hanging Judge Jeffries’ is believed to have stayed?

Or how a lottery win led to the building of Eagle House?

Or where you can see Flemish Bond or modillions?

The answer to these questions together with a wealth of other interesting facts about the buildings in Launceston can be found in the exhibition.

Don't miss it!
