Guides from Newquay Heritage Archive & Museum are now available to carryout guided tours along the historical Newquay maritime coastline. The guides have an immense amount of historical knowledge and will be able to augment the walk with photographs of current views as they were over 100 years ago. Your local guide will have ancestors whose story goes back 500 years here in Newquay. How much more local can you get?
The Kneehigh Theatre guided walk run by Newquay Heritage Archive & Museum can be available [Walk with Me + One] and the route taken by the mobile app is enhanced by the local history guide with far mor information and stories than are possible on the app. Old photoes are available to view and compare with the modern landscape throughout the guided walk. There is a moderate charge for this and groups sizes of a minimum 8 persons and maximunm 24 persons. Proceeds go towards maintaining the museum facilities and free entry. Other guided walks are also available on request.
