"Life in Victorian Bodmin" by Bill Johnson was launched on 21st November at the Bodmin Lions Christmas Fayre. The price is £3. This is the fifth book in a series on the people and buildings of Bodmin. It covers changes in population, housing, education, trades and employment in the town from about 1831 to 1901. Bill used census entries and directories in his research for this book. As usual it has maps and images.
