Liskeard & District Museum is launching its new website. www.liskeardmuseum.com

Take a tour of the museum and its displays. View extra exhibitions and see what we hold in our collection stores. All from the comfort of your own home on your computer or whilst you are out and about on your smart phone.

As part of its Digital Image Project, volunteers at Liskeard Museum have developed an on-line resource to preview the museum, it’s collection and displays. This will be a platform for the forthcoming 3D tours of the local landscape and digital collection imagery.

The museum has recently been granted funding to purchase photographic film and photography equipment which will enable the volunteer community to produce quality images of the collection which is often not on display, to share on-line and 3D interactive tours of the industrial agricultural and architectural landscape that has influenced the development of the town.

Volunteers interested in digital imagery are being invited to take part in the project with support from local photographic and film professionals.
